About the concept
A sea-view terrace concept built around existing olive trees: a pale stone deck, low lounge seating and layered planting that steps down toward the water.
The composition keeps the horizon open while giving the terrace a sense of enclosure and shade.
Design approach
- 01
Working with the trees
Mature olives set the structure; paving and seating are placed around them rather than replacing them.
- 02
Layered, low planting
Rounded shrubs and grasses soften the stone edges without rising into the view.
- 03
Evening atmosphere
Discreet lighting picks out trunks and planters so the terrace stays inviting after sunset.
