About the concept
A concept for a coastal villa garden that stays green with far less water: low-water Mediterranean planting, root-zone irrigation and sensors that respond to weather and soil.
The result is designed to look generous and lush while using water only where and when the plants need it.

Design approach
- 01
Right plant, right place
Drought-tolerant species are grouped by water need so irrigation can be precise.
- 02
Water at the roots
Sub-surface lines deliver water to the root zone, reducing evaporation.
- 03
Smart monitoring
Soil and weather sensors adjust watering, even when the villa is empty.
This project is a design concept and visualisation study, presented to show MONARCH GREEN ATELIER’s approach.
