About the concept
A concept that links two kinds of kitchen garden: a Mediterranean potager with a glasshouse and raised beds on land, and a compact hydroponic herb wall in a yacht galley.
The idea is simple — fresh herbs, microgreens and edible flowers grown close to where they are cooked, whether at home or at sea.

Design approach
- 01
Grown for the menu
Crops are selected with the chef — herbs, microgreens and edible flowers that are used every day.
- 02
Hydroponics in the galley
A lit, soil-free growing wall fits the galley’s space, power and food-safety routines.
- 03
A garden that is also a view
On land, raised beds and a glasshouse are composed as part of the landscape, not hidden behind it.
This project is a design concept and visualisation study, presented to show MONARCH GREEN ATELIER’s approach.
